OSHA Safety Training

Taught by Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) authorized trainers, this training program provides instruction on OSHA standards and requirements with options targeted to both construction and general industry.

Construction

OSHA 10-hour Construction Safety & Health Course (2-Day)
This course is intended for entry-level participants. The OSHA 10-Hour Construction outreach training program trains construction workers in important topics of occupational safety and health hazards. Taught by Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) authorized trainers, this 10-hour training program provides instruction on OSHA standards and requirements as they apply to the construction industry, and teaches safety awareness, which assists workers in recognizing and reducing the risks of construction site and industrial hazards on the job site. Some of the topics include Introduction to OSHA, Electrical Safety, Fall Protection, Ladder Safety, Excavation Safety, Scaffold Safety, Materials Handling, Forklift Safety, Personal Protective Equipment and Permit-Required Confined Space Entry. This safety training outreach course is required by many Federal and State jurisdictions in order to work on construction and industrial sites. Participants will receive an OSHA Construction Safety and Health 10-hour Card after finishing the program. 



OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety & Health Course (4-Day)
The OSHA 30-Hour Construction Industry Health & Safety course trains construction supervisors in important practices of occupational health and safety. This program will assist employers in training supervisors for competent person status. This course will also provide instruction on OSHA regulations and requirements as they apply to the construction industry and teaches safety awareness, which assists workers and their supervisors in recognizing and reducing the risks of construction site and industrial hazards. Other topics include Fall Protection, Excavations, Scaffolding, and OSHA Inspection Procedures. Upon successful completion, students will receive Course Completion Cards from OSHA for the 30-Hour Construction Safety & Health Course.



General Industry

OSHA 10-hour General Industry Safety & Health Course (2-Day)
The OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Health & Safety course trains general industry workers in important practices of occupational health and safety. The course is designed for employees, foremen, job supervisors, and anyone involved in general industry operations. This 10-hour training program provides instruction on OSHA regulations and requirements as they apply to general industry and teaches safety awareness, which assists workers in recognizing and reducing the risks of construction work site hazards. OSHA recommends Outreach Training Program courses as an orientation to occupational safety and health for workers covered by OSHA 29 CFR 1910. This class is required by many Federal and State jurisdictions in order to work on general industrial work sites. Upon successful completion of this course participants will receive an OSHA General Industry Safety and Health 10-hour Card.



OSHA 30-hour General Industry Safety & Health Course (4-Day)
The OSHA 30-Hour General Industry Health & Safety course trains supervisors and management in important practices of occupational health and safety. This program will assist employers in training supervisors for competent person status. The OSHA 30-hour course provides students with an in-depth study of Hazard Identification, Avoidance, Control and Prevention in the workplace. Upon successful completion, students will receive Course Completion Cards from OSHA for the 30-Hour General Industry Safety & Health Course.
