Confined Space Training

This class is designed for employees that would be expected to perform confined space entries as entrants, supervisors or serve as an attendant during permit required confined space.

8-Hour Permit Required Confined Space Entry – Entrant & Attendant

Over 2 million workers enter a permit-required confined space every year. OSHA requires all employees who work in permit-required confined spaces to have training. This 8-hour Permit Required Confined Space class is designed to provide employees that would be expected to perform confined space entries as entrants, supervisors or serve as an attendant during permit required confined space. The course meets the minimum training requirements of 29 CFR 1910.146 Confined Space Regulation for entrants and attendants. At a minimum we will cover confined space recognition, hazard recognition and detection, permit requirements, isolation procedures, non-entry rescue procedures, personal protective equipment and emergency evacuation of confined spaces.


16 or 24-Hour Permit Required Confined Space Rescue

This 16 or 24-hour Confined Space Rescue class is designed for employees that would be expected to perform confined space rescue. The course meets the minimum training requirements of 29 CFR 1910.146 and NFPA 1670. The course will consist of both classroom and hands-on sessions, reinforced through practical exercises. The course will be centered around personal safety, pre-incident planning, hazard recognition, permit requirements, personnel protective equipment, air monitoring, communications systems, isolation procedures, patient packaging and removal, anchorage points, safe work practices and rescue access systems. Realistic hands-on scenarios allow the student to gain confidence in their abilities.


8 or 16-Hour Confined Space Refresher

This program reviews the learned knowledge from the Confined Space Entry and Rescue courses to meets the annual training requirements for OSHA 29 CFR Part 1910.146, “Permit Required Confined Spaces.” This program meets the applicable OSHA & NFPA annual refresher requirements. We can custom tailor these to your facility if being conducted on-site.
